Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap

Our cat Baloo is a rescue who lived on the street and experienced trauma. He hates to travel and is afraid of strangers. When we took him for his first vet visit he spat, hissed, snarled and generally worked himself up into a lather. It was traumatic for everyone and he earned himself a warning sticker on his medical chart. After that, we switched to a home visit vet who uses this wrap. When bundled up in it, Baloo is transformed. The change was so remarkable that I bought the wrap myself. Most recently we took a wrapped-up Baloo to and from dental surgery. He was very calm getting there even with all the Manhattan street noise. The vet and vet assitants were very pleased with the wrap as well. They used the little access flaps to give him shots, draw blood, and take his temp. And, all the while, he remained docile. I highly recommend the Calm & Cozy Wrap. There is no doubt that Baloo gives it a big paws up, himself .

This is the best item I have bought for my cat. She is very strong and you would have to hold her super hard which would hurt her. The first time I put it on she stressed but now when I give her medicine she is purring. Once I put the neck velcro on she relaxes and let's me zip it up. Fantastic item.

This has definitely been a great addition to my practice! It doesn’t work on every single cat (you know, if you can barely even handle them!), but it’s definitely found its place in my clinic. I knew when the techs started grabbing it that it was working!

Due to initial sticker shock I was hesitant to purchase after our head DVM saw them at the San Diego conference and told me about them. However, I bit the bullet and ordered three, and have since ordered six more as we use them multiple times most days. I am skeptical about a lot of product claims/gimmicks in the veterinary field, but I truly believe these make interactions between patients and our staff more enjoyable, productive, and less stressful. I sometimes have to remind staff to use some of the tools at our disposal, but they have no hesitation in using these. We have even successfully used them "off label" for some small dogs.

I was first introduced to these wraps when doing veterinary house calls. I can't tell how many times this wrap has saved me! I absolutely love them and try to use it on most cats that doesn't do well with restraint. It really does make visits go smoothly.

We’ve tried several different things to help secure our 7lb girl for her sub q fluids and nothing comes close to this. She is small but she is STRONG! She doesn’t love being put in it, but once she’s in, you can tell she’s more calm. No more tears for me during her life extending treatments! If you give sub q fluids at home, this will make your life and your cats life so much better.
