Surell Levine, VMD
CEO
Dr. Surell Levine has a BA from Brown University and a VMD from University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a fellowship in Emergency and Critical Care, has worked at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit, and is also a certified veterinary medical acupuncturist. Today, she runs a busy mobile practice, Hopkinton Home Veterinary Service, and serves as an active volunteer at the MSPCA animal shelter.
Surell invented the Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap when her veterinary nurse was on maternity leave. She needed a way to handle cats on her own during exams. As a mother of three, Surell was curious to see whether a baby swaddle could be used to calm and hold cats. She started creating prototypes, and after years of testing many different versions, the Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap was born.
