• Make it snug

Always create a very snug swaddle. A loose swaddle is not comfortable or relaxing for a cat.

  • Prevent rolls

If the cat is on any surface other than the floor, always have at least one hand on cat.

  • Keep an eye on them

Don’t leave wrapped cats unattended. We don’t recommend wrapping your cat for more than 15 minutes.

TIPS FOR

Home Users

  • If you’re not administering urgent care to your cat, consider wrapping, giving treats, and releasing your pet for a few days to further acclimate them to the process.
  • The more you use your wrap for everyday care, like brushing teeth, the easier it will be to use it when they need special care or a trip to the vet.

TIPS FOR

Professionals

  • Start and practice with easy-to-handle cats to build muscle memory and confidence.
  • Before bringing a cat into the exam room, open and unzip the wrap completely and place on a non-slip surface with treats.
  • We recommend using the cat wrap with every cat (even the easy ones) to prevent stressful situations before they occur.

HOW TO

Wash your wrap

  • Turn your wrap inside out for washing to get the areas most likely to be soiled extra clean.
  • Machine wash separately or use mesh wash bag to prevent velcro from attaching to finer fabrics.
  • Make sure all velcro is closed to avoid fabric twisting or stitching breakdown.
  • Dry on medium heat.
