With a dose of gabapentin and the wrap, I was able to trim my 11 year old cat's nails at home by myself for the first time! We left the wrap out by his food and encouraged him to get comfortable being around it (bribing with treats of course) and tonight successfully trimmed all the nails without a fight! It was easy to get him into the wrap and also fish his little paws out of the Velcro holes. Very happy with this purchase and will make my money back after a few more trims!!

I ordered this wrap after my cat went berserk at the vets when we needed to draw his blood for a routine check-up. He has also always been difficult to pill--liquid meds especially are impossible to administer.

With the wrap AND using gabapentin, we successfully got his blood drawn at the vets. Our vets also used it prior to injecting him with his pre-dental surgery anesthetic.

At home, the wrap has made medicating him SO easy!! We can pill him BY HAND without using a pill popper! And we can also carefully syringe him nasty tasting liquid meds. We will also use it to brush his teeth everyday as it helps us get to the innermost teeth.

I bought the pro version because my other older cat developed HCM and had an insane medicine regimen as the disease progressed. She had to be given MANY pills, some of which were huge, many nasty tasting, and she also had to take many nasty tasting liquid meds. At the end we also had SC injections to administer. Most of the meds were life-saving and essential. She was extremely placid for a cat so she took them all super well BUT I knew that my boy cat would never accept such a regimen and I worried about what we would do if he got sick one day.

With the pro version of the wrap, I'm confident that we can care for him even with such an intense medicine regimen in the event he falls sick. And it makes daily care like teeth brushing so much easier!

He likes "training time" with the wrap because he gets treats. So cat care time with the wrap becomes a nice bonding session for both human and cat too.

I'm a new cat mom, and I was incredibly nervous about trimming my cat's nails for the first time. It's a little difficult to get him in it, but once he's secure inside, he becomes super calm and docile, and trimming his nails is a breeze.

They're great for my home use if I have to med or clean eyes, etc of any of my squirrelly guys or for when my home Vet comes. It's great for them for nearly everything. This is the only product we’ve found that has made nail clipping manageable. We tried the towel method and thunder vest but neither of them worked at all. She also got sick a few weeks after we received the product and we had to shoot the medication down her throat. Without the suit I don’t know if we could have done it. We love it! It’s expensive, but worth it if you’ve tried everything else and nothing is working. We call it “The Boo Boo Suit” because her nickname is BooBoo.

We have a feisty big boy American Longhair (16lbs so we sized up). We just adopted him and he swiped my face when we tried to cut his nails, and I looked like Scarface. We needed a solution so I'm so glad I found CalmCozyCat! We ordered the large and it seems well built with nice felt and sturdy velcro. We used for both our cats (one is 12lbs tuxedo and he was still fine in the large) and nail trimming was so much easier! He hissed a little bit but seemed to calm down especially after swaddling. Trimming little Anyabelles’ claws is necessary because otherwise she gets stuck on blankets, fabrics, screens etc. But it was a traumatic experience… for both of us. She acted like I was torturing her. The hammocks hanging from a shower rod that I saw on Amazon were much cheaper but I didn’t see that calming her down, and likely making her act even more wild. I invested in this cozy wrap and glad I did. It does have a calming effect on her. Though she will never “enjoy” having her claws trimmed this wrap got her to submit to it with a lot less protest. I got a size medium. She weighs 8 lbs.

This is an amazing product! I use it on both my cats for their vet appointments and for nail trimming. One cat is non-complaint and needs it to subdue her. The other cat is timid and it helps calm her and make her feel safe. My vet loved it as well and asked where I got it so they could check it out!

I love it, my cat fits a little too snug but his measurements match those for Medium. I wish it had a little more room. I think Large would probably be too big. That doesn't take away from how amazing this is. I get to brush my cat's teeth little to no hassle. I know my baby is big. I hope he's comfortable.

Our cat Baloo is a rescue who lived on the street and experienced trauma. He hates to travel and is afraid of strangers. When we took him for his first vet visit he spat, hissed, snarled and generally worked himself up into a lather. It was traumatic for everyone and he earned himself a warning sticker on his medical chart. After that, we switched to a home visit vet who uses this wrap.
